Transport Rules & Regulations
For Transport Users — Academic Session 2022-23
General Rules
- College is providing transport facility to its students.
- Transport facility is optional for the students. Seat number is allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis to students who agree to abide by the transport rules of the institution.
- All instructions issued by the competent authority from time to time must be followed by the transport users.
- A penalty, in the form of a monetary fine or otherwise, may be imposed on a transport user in case of violation of any notified transport rule or instruction issued by the management.
- Users must reach their respective stops at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Buses will run on schedule except in case of traffic or technical problems.
- Arrival of buses in the campus is generally scheduled 15 minutes before the starting time of the institute.
- Departure of all buses is synchronized by considering the closing hours of the institution.
- Buses stop only at designated stops. No stop other than the designated one will be considered.
- Route numbers are displayed on the buses for better identification.
- Users shall board only the bus particularly allotted to them. A list of users and stops will be displayed in every bus.
- Any change in address, contact number, or other details provided at the time of availing transport should be updated with the transport department well in advance.
- Efforts will be made to arrange alternates in case of a mechanical breakdown or other issue, but no reimbursement or compensation shall be paid.
As per the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, ragging is a grievous offence. Anyone indulging in ragging will be severely punished, which may lead to expulsion from the institution and even imprisonment.

Security Guidelines
- Misconduct, unwanted, and anti-social activities are strictly prohibited in the bus; violation will attract strict disciplinary action.
- Smoking, drinking, violence, gambling, and playing cards are strictly prohibited in transport.
- No user is allowed to touch the controls of the bus.
- Users are advised to board the bus at least 5 minutes before departure from campus.
- Any suggestion or complaint regarding transport can be submitted to the transport in-charge in writing.
- For any transport-related query, please contact the Transport In-charge.
- Students found travelling without paying transport charges will be fined heavily.
- Users must carry the Transport ID card while travelling; a fine may be imposed otherwise.
- Transport users must sign the Bus Attendance Register with the prescribed details.
Transport Fee
- The transport fee is charged quarterly for one academic session.
- The transport fee can be deposited via cash at Window 2.
- Users must deposit the transport fee in advance at the time of availing the facility, after which a card is issued.
- The fee is notified every year before the end-semester examination and is subject to change based on operational costs.
