ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
The department of commerce was started in 2005 . It has a noble vision of imparting knowledge and technical skills to meet the demand in the world of commerce. It offers B.Com, and BBA in UG stream and M.Com in PG stream. It offers superior quality, affordable and professional education with a view to build graduate and post graduate with highly efficient and leadership qualities.
The department intends to enlighten the graduates to be in right endeavor by developing their distinct competition in the human values and professionalism which led them to be successful, globally employable and entrepreneurial graduates in the dynamic environment. Hence forth, the department apart from class room teaching it molds the students through various academic and cocurricular activities.
Our department frequently organizes guest lectures of various experts in the wanted topic to enhance the practical knowledge. It arranges for industrial visits to know about the real industry need. It organizes quiz, group discussion, news paper reading, faculty lecture and debate etc., to improve the in-depth subject knowledge of the student.
Strength of Department
Commerce Lab
To enhance practical knowledge among the students, Commerce Lab was inaugurated on 18th July 2016 by Shri Ravindra Jaiswal trustee of this college. Students are provided practical exposure towards all possible topics in their curriculum through Commerce Lab.
Certificate Courses
Certificate Courses are aimed to complement academic achievements with practical skills and also to enhance the employability of students. It is mandatory for every student to complete two certificate courses and they are free to choose the course based on their area of interest.
Paper Presentations by Students
Researching, writing, and Presenting Papers at National/International seminars/ conferences provides students with invaluable early experience in expressing ideas and an opportunity to exercise and improve both written and verbal communication skills.
Internships/Projects
Internships/Projects to motivate and educate final year students to have a clear, exciting working experience and hone employability skills with active guidance of the internal faculty assigned to them.
