Educational Visit to BHU Chemistry Department

On April 9, 2026, M.Sc. and B.Sc. science students from Dhirendra Mahila P.G. College participated in a Student Outreach Programme at Banaras Hindu University’s Department of Chemistry. Guided by Prof. K.N. Singh and Prof. Saten Saha, the educational visit successfully bridged theoretical classroom concepts with practical laboratory experience. Students received hands-on exposure to advanced analytical instruments, including NMR, IR, UV-Visible, and Mass Spectrometers. Beyond technical skills, the immersive tour familiarized them with essential laboratory safety, modern research workflows, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ultimately, the trip boosted academic confidence, sparked scientific curiosity, and inspired students toward higher education and research-oriented careers.
