Social Spark Club Organizes Awareness Programme on “Changing Family Structure and Its Challenges

Prayagraj: The Social Spark Club of Dhirendra Mahila P.G. College organized an awareness programme on the topic “Changing Family Structure and Its Challenges” to sensitize students about the evolving nature of family systems in modern society and the issues emerging from these changes.

The programme began with a welcome address by the Club Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of family values, mutual understanding, and social harmony in contemporary life. During the interactive session, students actively discussed the impact of urbanization, industrialization, migration, education, and modernization on traditional family structures.

Participants expressed concerns regarding challenges such as loneliness among elderly family members, weakening emotional bonds, work-life stress faced by parents, and reduced social support for children. The discussion also focused on the need to maintain strong family relationships while adapting to changing social realities.

The programme provided a platform for students to share their views and develop a deeper understanding of contemporary social issues. It concluded with a message encouraging responsible citizenship, empathy, and the preservation of positive family values in an evolving society.
